Refund Policy

1. Digital Product Nature

All products sold by HCA Academy — including individual mock tests and test series packs — are digital products delivered instantly upon payment. Because access is granted immediately after a successful transaction, refunds are generally not offered once access has been granted.

This is consistent with standard practice for digital educational content under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

2. Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a full refund in the following situations:

• Access not granted after payment: Your payment was successful (deducted from your account) but you did not receive an access token and cannot access the purchased test(s).
• Duplicate payment: You were charged more than once for the same order due to a technical error.
• Test content severely broken: The purchased test fails to load or is entirely non-functional due to a bug on our platform, and we are unable to resolve it within 48 hours of your complaint.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

• You accessed the test and then changed your mind
• You purchased the wrong test or pack by mistake
• You were dissatisfied with the difficulty level or content
• You cleared your browser data and lost your access token (see our token re-issuance policy below)
• The request is made more than 7 days after the date of purchase
• Your device or browser is not compatible with our platform

4. Access Token Re-Issuance

If you lose access to your test because you cleared your browser data, switched devices, or reinstalled your browser, we understand this is frustrating. While this is not eligible for a refund, we offer a free token re-issuance service:

• Email us at support@hcaacademy.in with the subject line "Token Re-issuance Request"
• Provide your Razorpay payment ID (e.g., pay_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) as proof of purchase
• We will verify the payment and reissue your access token within 24–48 working hours

This service is available for up to 365 days from the original purchase date.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an eligible case:

• Email us at support@hcaacademy.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
• Include your full name, the test or pack purchased, and your Razorpay payment ID
• Describe the issue clearly

We will review your request and respond within 3 working days. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 working days depending on your bank.

6. Razorpay Payment Gateway

All refunds are processed through Razorpay. Once we initiate a refund on our end, the processing time is typically 5–7 business days for credit/debit cards and 1–3 business days for UPI. The exact timeline depends on your bank or payment provider.

You will receive a refund confirmation notification from Razorpay at the email/phone number associated with your payment.

7. Cancellation Policy

Since our tests are delivered instantly as digital products, there is no concept of "cancellation" after a purchase is complete. If you have not yet made a payment, no action is needed — simply do not proceed with the checkout.
